Christmas Dangers

Please try to keep your pets safe over this festive period as there are many temptations out there along with food, tinsel and toys.

If your pet eats any of the following foods shown on our poster, please contact the surgery on 01224 486444 for advice on how to deal with this as quickly as possible. An emergency veterinary service can also be contacted on this number out of hours.

FREE Identichip for Puppies and Kittens

We would like to announce that we are currently offering FREE identichips to ALL puppies and kittens who come to see us for their full vaccination course. This is in addition to the other freebies they also receive. The identichips will be inserted on your puppy and kitten’s 2nd vaccination as we do not wish to frighten them off at their first visit to us.

Please remember that as of 6th April 2016, it will be compulsory for all dogs to be Identichipped.

Microchipping

On behalf of Dogs Trust, we will be running a FREE microchipping service for dogs with immediate effect. This will be done on a Wednesday morning ONLY between 9.00am – 10.30am. Appointments MUST be made for this service in advance.

This offer is to support the new laws due to come into force in April 2016 for compulsory microchipping for all dogs

Ongoing Renovations

From mid February 2015, we are undertaking some work within the practice to extend the size of our three Consulting Rooms. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time which we hope we have managed to keep to a minimum for all clients. During this time, we have also taken the opportunity to freshen up the practice too.

New Team Member

On 5 January 2015, we had a new staff member join us – Scott Lawson BVMS MRCVS. He has fitted in very well at Ashgrove Vets in the past few weeks and has been extremely busy meeting new clients and treating their pets. Scott has plenty experience with exotics too and we hope he will be very happy here for the foreseeable future.
